- Leading and developing the infrastructure team: You will take on the technical and organisational leadership of our system administration team. Through coaching, knowledge sharing and clear prioritisation, you will support your team in further developing technical excellence and sustainable working practices.
- Responsibility for a stable and secure IT environment: You will be responsible for the operation, availability and continuous development of our server, network and system infrastructure. In doing so, you will ensure that our platforms are operated reliably, efficiently and in a future-proof manner.
- Architecture and standardisation of modern platforms: You will design, standardise and further develop Linux and Windows systems. With a clear focus on scalability, maintainability and security, you will create sustainable technical solutions.
- IT security as an integral part of the infrastructure: You will establish and optimise processes relating to monitoring, patch management, lifecycle management and security. In doing so, you will ensure that security requirements and operational stability are met in equal measure.
- Modern Workplace & Device Management: You will be responsible for maintaining and further developing our mobile device management solutions for iOS and Android, and for ensuring the secure and efficient operation of the end-device platform.
- • Automation & Infrastructure as Code: You will actively drive the expansion of automation strategies and implement Infrastructure-as-Code approaches, for example using Ansible, to make processes more efficient, reproducible and scalable.
- Technical Responsibility & Project Management: You will analyse complex infrastructure and platform requirements, evaluate technologies and lead technical projects from conception through to successful implementation.
- Collaboration & Service Provider Management: You will coordinate external IT service providers, work closely with internal departments and ensure efficient alignment between technical and organisational requirements.
- Strategic IT Development: You will play an active role in shaping our IT strategy and develop concepts that support security, scalability and efficiency in the long term.

- Qualifications: A degree in Computer Science, an IT-related apprenticeship (e.g. IT Specialist for System Integration) or a comparable qualification.
- Infrastructure & Operations: Several years’ experience in the administration and further development of Linux and Windows systems, as well as in the operation of complex IT infrastructures.
- Automation & Platform Understanding: In-depth knowledge of automation, scripting and Infrastructure as Code. You understand how modern infrastructure is operated efficiently, reproducibly and sustainably.
- Virtualisation & modern technologies: Confident use of virtualisation and container platforms such as Proxmox, Docker or Hyper-V, as well as a good understanding of current infrastructure and platform technologies.
- IT Security & Operational Processes: Familiar with topics such as monitoring, backup and restore, hardening, patch management and fundamental security concepts. You identify risks at an early stage and develop appropriate solutions.
- Analytical thinking & quality awareness: You work in a structured manner, maintain a clear overview even in complex environments, and uphold high standards of quality, stability and sustainability.
- Leadership & Responsibility: You are keen to take on responsibility, make well-informed technical decisions and create an environment that fosters collaboration and professional development. Ideally, you have already successfully led and developed teams, staff or technical projects.
- Communication: You communicate clearly and in a manner appropriate to your audience, enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders, and have a very good command of German as well as a good command of English.
